List of Noesis plugins I’ve written. All of them are written in python.
To install a Noesis plugin, download the plugin and add it to the “plugins/python” folder.
Unfortunately skinning and animation is not something I have looked at, nor have successfully tried to understand, so any plugins I wrote on my own only import at most textured meshes.

The file extensions at the end of each entry, do those only work for that specific game? Or can I use that plugin to extract other files using the same plugin? For example, Corvette uses msh files. Would I be able to use the plugin for Seven Souls to access those files in Corvette?

Hi! First off, let me thank you for the amazing stuff around here! Secondly, I’d wondered if anyone else had any issue running lithtech .dat scripts. I’m trying to open up AVP2’s (2001) original map files; but it gives me an error (couldn’t open/couldn’t read file to export). I’m not a coder, but I’ve read on a website, that is had to do something with line 190 (inside the v85). Changing “self.inFile.seek(11 + 1)” to “self.inFile.seek(11 + 20, 1)” didn’t do the trick. Any tips, guys?
Update: found out that AVP2 has string ID 70; so there’s no script for that! Any chance?
Hime, I can’t access Touhou Sky Arena MDL script. It shows only “Unknown Script” When I access it. Why is it like that?

The text file is the plugin. You just need to save it in your plugin folder.

Thanks for finding another way of supplying your plugins. Unfortunately I still can’t open or download the fmt_Unity3D_43.py file. Clicking on Unity3D_43 leads to a page that claims that the script is unknown.

XNALara doesn’t have any export tools?
xnaLara (Not-opensource) can export to only .obj but not reliably.
That is why i use the blender script.
But that also works depending on the model.
I tried to get another 3d model viewer interested in supporting xna meshes “http://www.open3mod.com/” because they have a opensource library

Actually if you already have a blender script for it, shouldn’t you be able to just use blender to export it?
It would be nice to just use noesis to view the models instead of having to export all from blender.
I like noesis file management having the folder trees to browse.
in xnalara you have the old fashion way of opening files.

A starting plugin is available in the dropbox folder named fmt_XNALara_xps. It does not read filenames properly, but for the models I tested it works.
It loads the mesh with a skeleton, though I’m not sure if the vertex weights are applied properly.

The plugin has been updated to supports bones and weights. It supports both the old XPS format as well as the new MESH format.

I don’t have any samples available anymore. You can send some samples, or maybe see if someone on xentax is willing to look into it.

You need to use noesis. Just put it in the python plugins folder.

I mean how can I open Models from Age of Wulin? I don't see any Models in the Age of Wulin folder o.o

The plugin doesn't work with all models. If there are newer models that may also be part of the problem.
Sorry, but how i can install these plugin? I paste/copy them inside plugin folder, but when i try to visualizate .wys and .msa from WYD, say "File could not be prewied".

Inside the python plugins folder? Did you restart noesis? I don't think every format from WYD is supported by that plugin.

That only appears if the plugin supports bones.

No, you need to find a plugin that supports bones. My plugins do not support them.

I am looking for a script to convert models. Mdl (have models star wars clone wars republic heroes PC, converted. RKV in. Mdl with the script xentax forum) but I find no script to open with noesis (I tried all of your script. mdl, but no success).
You will t it possible to create one?
Or if you're too busy, you know where I can find to script or plugin?

Thanks Hime , i edited the script as you instructed , there were about 5-6 more cases which needed parentheses , but after all that now it gives me this error :

with help from the Xentax forums , now i know that i should put the sanae.py inside the \plugins\python\Sanae3D folder in order for it to work , but now it gives me another errors as shown in this pic :

You can try putting parentheses around the the "self.path".
Age of Wulin plugin gives me this error :

ImportError: No Module named Sanae
i've downloaded Sanae.py , and put it in the plugin\python folder , but still the same error , can you tell me what i'm doing wrong ? or what else needs to be done ?

Is the Unity3D plugin fully supports textures using the .*tex file extension generated by the Unity Assets Explorer??? It seems that Unity’s format of the texture inside the asset file is still in need of extensive research because there are reports that their previews in IrfanView or Photoshop are horrible or non-existent… If no such plugin exists, good luck…

Unity uses several different texture formats. This one only supports the simple ones (RGB24, RGBA32).

Noesis is not a 3D editor you will have to export it to some common format and then use a proper 3D editor to modify it. Up to you how to get it to work with other games.
Are you able to convert your .msh converter for Rise of flight or RF online to convert Cliffs of Dover .msh files to Blender?
Unfortunately I have not looked blender API so not really sure what to do there.
