Hello! I’m working on two projects– one is an In Stars and Time fangame, which will be available for free, and the other is my personal project, The Masked Kingdom, which will be worth about 20 USD. I would like to use a variety of your plugins for both, if that’s okay, of course with your name in the credits of both projects, namely your Custom Death States, Guest Followers, Choice Display Mode, Large Choices, Pre Title Events, State Change Animations, and Window Background Colors plugins. Thank you!

2. sakana says:

Hi, I’m an adult game developer in Japan.
I borrowed two plugins for my game, “Window Background Colors” and “Actor Battle Commands”.
I use them with “HimeWorks” in the credits.
Thank you very much for your wonderful plugins.

3. Saffron says:

Hello! I want to use some of your plugins for my first rpgmaker game, its about a maggot on its journey to become a fly. I only plan on selling it for $1 and I’ll credit you and the plugins i used in the credits.

4. It’s not that I want to duplicate your web-site, but I really like the pattern. Could you let me know which theme are you using? Or was it especially designed?

5. HildaEdelgard says:

Hello Hime! I want your permission for the Disable choices and large choices. Im starting a potentially commercial adult game that probably wont get anywhere.

6. commamion says:

Hello
I create games for adults in Japan
I will use your wonderful plugin in a game called “Hoshikai no Uta”
We look forward to supporting your future activities!

*This has been translated from Japanese using Google Translate.

7. Hey I saw your terms and wanted to let you know I’m working on a commercial game that would use your plugin. At least it’s potentially a commercial game. I plan to do a Kickstarter. If I succeed, it’s commercial. If it fails, I’ll do free.

Anyway, I have a few items that need you effect conditions plugin to work properly. I found similar plugins but couldn’t find one that limited which character to target in the menu screen itself so this is a huge help. I’ve posted the link to my game project from rpgmaker forums if you’re interested. I’ve got a long way to go, but plan to credit you and wanted to give you a heads up!

Thanks again for making this plugin free, it’s exactly what I was needing.

8. ga. says:

Hello!
I’m using a translator, so I’m sorry if my English isn’t good!

thank you.

Hello! I want to use many of your scripts to make a horror game called lisa. I will use RPGⅤXAce to make it. It will be a very cheap game in terms of pricing, and I intend to sell it on DLsite. I will use equipment durability series scripts and core equipment series scripts to enrich its gameplay. If possible, I’d like to give you a copy of the game after making it. I’m going to translate it into English. This is my email address. 13107436708@163.com, thank you very much for making so many interesting scripts.

12. Randy Wallace says:

I am working on a game called veil of the Mind. I am currently using hime- enemy classes, enemy equips, enemy levels, equip slots core, and would like to know how to ensure that I can use them for a commercial project. Regardless of requirements I planned on having the credited part apply as the game will function with them but I am curious about your requirements to use it for a commercial project. The game is targeted for steam and i am considering attempting to make it for mobile.

• Randy Wallace says:

Another thought is if there is a way to make the the items and levels have a chance to be selected from a set list of chances.

13. Parodos says:

Hello, thanks you some very useful scripts. Just letting you know I’m using some of your scripts in game called “Goblin Layer” (nsfw), as per you terms of use 🙂

14. Hi,

I’m (possibly commercial) creating a game called “The Paradox” where a young Priestess must change the past to save the future.

Your plugin is a LIFE saver! I was trying to get the “Guard” state animation to end when character was set to immortal, and they were guarding at HP 0. Your plugin was the only workaround I found to let me do what I wanted.

If you get a hold of me, I will gladly provide a copy of the game to you for free, and will absolutely put you in the credits!

15. watapan says:

Thank you!

17. ZiRan says:

Hello himeworks, I would like to use some of the rpgmaker plugins you made in my game, it will be an adult furry rpg game. The plugins I want to use are currently HIME_LargeChoices, HIME_ConditionalChoiceText, HIME_DisabledChoiceConditions. I expect that when I finish it I will release the game to itch or steam and charge, so I guess this should be considered commercial.
Thank you for your excellent plugin!

I’m intending to launch onto patreon soon, planning the dl to be free starting out. I don’t want to mention an adult game name on your webpage here, but i look at my emails a lot @ spicelagoongaming@gmail.com . Happy holidays!

Hi Hime.
Finally I made my game! The name is “黄昏が落ちてくる街に”(Twilight Falling),It is non-commercial game. I made up the game with RPG Maker VXAce. I used “Simple Audio Encryption”. It helped me in releasing the game. I had credit your name. Thank you very much for your works. (Sorry for my poor English.)

37. Mirai says:

Hi Hime, since I am not from an English speaking country and my English is not very good, I had to use the “DeepL Translator” machine to translate into English.‍♀️

I used RPG Maker MV to create a game called “Culture Festival” online event, the game itself is completely free.

(PS.The “Culture Festival” is a virtual expo where we introduce our works in RPGmaker.)

I then used your “Large Choices MV (HIME_LargeChoices.js)” plugin in the “Culture Festival” project and I also included your Credits in the game and on my personal blog.

( * Game screenshots and blog content are in “Traditional Chinese” language.‍♀️)

Google Blogger

And for the release version of “Culture Festival” game, I use Electron + asar for encrypted deployment.

38. GenericSeal says:

Himes.
As of right now. I’m currently making some RPGMaker game about “Exploring the world of Fiction” or whatever. Thought I’d let you know that your game over script is an insane help on the pace of the game. I don’t just want players to go back to the title, yknow. I’ll make sure to credit you and all that jazz.

39. Nameless says:

Hello, Hime.
I’m building a mv game trying to make a low fantasy clash with high fantasy none story based game. Likely to use guest followers, Battle Exp Distribution, and might use counter after hit. If I ever finish the game, it’d be for commercial. Of course I’d credit your name in the game. Thank you very much for all the work you’ve done.

40. Capytoon says:

Hi, Hime! I want to thank you for your support in my upcoming RM Ace game, Monsters. Steam Store Page

You will be credited in this game as it features your ‘Party Manager’ , ‘Picture Anchor’ and ‘Event Followers’ scripts to name a few. I’ve learnt a great deal about RGSS3 scripting from you and that will always be treasured. Thank you and have a nice day!

41. James Gray says:

I am using your Common Event Queue and Level Up Event plugins. They seem like fantastic plugins, but I am mostly just using them to heal on level up. There’s some kind of conflict that makes other plugins not work right.

My game is the Lady of the Lake RPG. The demo is out now, and the official release date is estimated to be October 13, 2022.

42. Aaron S. says:

Hello,

Thank you for making this plugin!

43. JP says:

Hi Himeworks, I’ve been thinking about accepting donations for a game I’ve been working on called Questbound you can find and download on the itch.io website. It’s free to play. With that said, I’ve put a lot of hours and effort into the development of the game (it’s finished) and it would mean something more to me to have donations enabled as an option. Would like to hear what you think.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Have a great day.

Hello Hime. I used a lot of your VX Ace scripts in my (free) game The Stuff Fairy Tales Are Made Of. Thank you so much for making all the scripts and allowing less gifted scripters like me to use them.

69. V. DeLuna says:

Hello my name is V. DeLuna. I really appreciate your work. I haven’t used a whole bunch of them yet and I don’t know if I’ll be using any more, but the plugin I have used, Actor Battle Commands, has been very helpful. I used it to rearrange the battle commands and add an additional option that wasn’t there before. It helped add a different feel to the combat options. I do plan to sell my game once it’s complete if I can, but it’s a long ways off and I am still basically a noob at working with rpg maker mv. The game is called Rune Harvest. I hope use of your plugins in this game will be ok. I will be adding a line in the credits for you as a thank you of course. Please let me know how you would prefer to be referred to in the credits and if there is a link you would like me to add for you as well. I’d appreciate it. Thank you! Take care. ~ V.

84. SquiVolt says:

Hi. I’m currently using your Pre-Title Events MV plugin in a commercial game, to add a cutscene and splash screen before the title screen. The game is extremely similar to the Persona series; the player has to manage their time wisely between a normal student life and dungeon crawling, and climb to the top of a tower to prevent humanity’s destruction.

85. Kayla R James says:

Hello, Hime,
I am currently using your large choices in a visual romance novel where you must romance all 6 options at once as they are all different aspects of the same character, but alas, 6 is the maximum amount of options and I’m trying to create areas where you can choose which of the 6 you’re wanting to go in areas with and hit finish at the end. Your plugin lets me do just that, and I may use some of your movement plugins to move the characters in more unique ways. It’s ambitious, but your hard work makes it possible. Thank you.

86. chiithecat says:

Hello Hime, I wanted to tell you that I’m using PreTitleEvents, SyncSaveData, and CommonEventButtons plug-ins in the game I’m currently working on. The game is called and it’s almost ready for a demo release! Your plug-ins have been a huge help for me since I’m not an expert in scripts or programming. They have a variety of useful features that make the game much more interesting! I’m also planning to make the game commercial when the full game is released and I just wanted to let you know. I will credit you in the game, and I thought it would be nice to mail you the game but I can’t find your email address… so I’m leaving a comment here. If there’s something more you’d like me to do, please tell me. You can leave a comment here or if it’s urgent, you can email me. Thanks again for the wonderful plug-ins! 🙂

87. Jeremy Sease says:

Hello Hime, I wanted to use your 8-directional movement script, to help make my project feel smoother, since I plan on making it exploration heavy! I also have plans for commercil use, in terms of publishing a full game when its complete, as of late I’ve been working on the an early demo of it! I forgot to put this in my earlier comment. The game is currently titled “Chymeria: Rascle’s Quest”. Its an adventure game, where you basically explore and do quests while figuring out various mysteries.

Hello Hime,
I am using your Pre-title-events plugin for making an opening title have a little more pop and using your menu music plugin to give my menu a little distinction. My game is an RPG action/adventure game. This is my first time stepping into the world of RPG making. I plan to have my first work be commercial use. I will definitely credit you and the other programmers that helped me learn and grow in making a RPG game. I can now look at game developers a lot differently now, since I am working by myself. Making a game is not easy and it takes time and effort to finish a game. I wish to thank you and keep up the good work for other new people like myself step into the world of game making.

Hi Hime,

Just wanted thank you for the work you’ve done on Common Event Buttons plugin you created. I’m currently using it for a RPG Maker MV Adventure/Horror game called NIRAVASI, which I recently started a Kickstarter Campaign for.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingsangos/niravasi

The Common Event Buttons Plugin works really well in conjunction with another Key Mapper plugin I’ve been using to allow the player to seamlessly interact with both the Flashlight and Radio device in the game, allowing for a much more seamless experience. I just wanted to give you my thanks personally and am more than happy to give you a copy of the game as it nears completion.

Hi Hime,

I’m planning to use your Actor Battle Commands and Battle Command: Use Skill plugins as part of a science fiction game I’m developing using MV (I’d mention the title if it wasn’t currently “working title”). I’m using them to give some of my characters intrinsic skills in the main battle menu. I’m planning to publish the game once it’s finished. I will, of course, credit you for your work in game. Are these plugins free to use in commercial games or are they licensed? The terms of use in the plugin descriptions are unclear.

91. Human extinction district says:

Nice to meet you.

I am a human extinction district that produces and downloads adult games using RPG Maker in Japan.

I came across Pre-Title Events where I was having trouble editing the title screen. A great plugin that meets all my needs.

Thank you for this encounter!

92. YioruYioru says:

Hello Hime,
I wanted to get your permission on using the “HIME_GamerOverEvents” on a mensal pledged adult game on patreon.
Your plugin saved my project!
(I would like to ask if you would like to receive credits, I know that some people don’t like to be quoted in adult games …))

• YioruYioru says:

I will probably also use one more plugin.

“HIME_HiddenChoice”.

Thank you for creating these plugins!

93. Ceydran says:

Hello Hime!

I wanted to let you know that I’m going to use your script “Large Choices” for my commercial game (Daraney – Guardian’s Rise)
which is fully released on Steam. And while doing this, I’ll of course credit you accordingly. In the title screen as well as in the end credits after completing the game.

Hello! Your plugins are so so so useful, thank you for making them! I’d like to use those four for my game about time loops: Hidden Choice Conditions, Custom Death States, HMS: Choice Display Mode, Window Background Colors. I intend to release a free demo and a paid game later. I hope that’s okay, let me know if not! I’ll be sure to credit you!

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that I’m currently using your amazing toggleable states plugin in my commercial game(Dark Horizons) to allow one of my characters to transform into animals. I plan to release a free Demo version On steam in the future and wanted to let you know about this per your request on the website. Thanks for making this plugin and many others. And have a good one.

97. Songsmith says:

Like seemingly hundreds of people before me, I’ve found some of your plugins super useful! I’m planning on using at least the ChangeBattleback in my project ‘Tuneria’ which should be releasing later this year. I hope that’s fine with you! It will be a commercial product releasing on Steam.

98. yuaelt says:

Hi!
Thank you very much for creating this repository, it looks amazing! I am going to use your followerEventTouch script in my game. It’s currently a private hobby project, but if I manage to complete it (and it turns out decent), I may consider selling it for a small fee. The working title is ‘Prince of Bouganville’. If I add any more of your plugins/scripts, I will let you know. Obviously, you’re credited in the game.

99. Hi Hime!
First of all, you’ve been making great content for the RPG Maker MV! Thanks for that! I just added another one of your plugins to my long list of plugins. My game will be commercial in future, but currently it is in a demo stage – the game is called Fear & Hunger: Termina. Currently I have use for EndPhaseTriggers, CounterAfterHit, FollowerEventTouch, StateChangeAnimation, StateDamageModifier and FormulaEffects. I don’t use plugins or other resources before asking if the original creator so wishes, but I realized I never sent you a message here in regards of my previous game – Fear & Hunger. I used many of the same plugins in that game too. I have a strong feeling that I approached you somehow back then too, but in case I’m wrong, I want to say I’m sorry about that and I want to correct that mistake. The plugins are of course credited in the game, but if there’s anything more I can do, let me know!

Hello. I’m using a bunch of your scritps in my game (I started working on it 4 years ago, but dropped it for lack of time and other occurring problems around me, but I finally decided to put my hands on it again and finish what I started). I’m still not 100% sure I will go commercial with it, but just in case I do, I wanted to let you know. I will be crediting you in both cases, thank you very much for your amazing work~

You can check out the game at https://davisgsee.itch.io/mylla-the-mercenary if you wish, and feel free to contact me for a free copy.

I am using a few of your plugins for my game, which I plan to sell commercially. I am using Larger Choices, Hidden Choices, Disable Choices Timed Choices and Guest Follower plugins. The first three are like a god send I wonder why RPG Maker hasn’t made them default options yet.

Greetings Himeworks

I inform you that I pretend to use your ActorBattleCommands, BattleComandUseSkill, ChoiceConditions and LargeChoices plugins for a commercial project called “Eleven Commandments”, an adventure game in which I pretend to show some of the less known Bible stories in an epic and entertaining way, merging them in an original story designed by myself. With those plugins I plan to implement an Escape battle command and the option of fast travelling. I’ll give you credit, of course, but let me know if you need more information.

Thanks in advance, this plugins will be a huge help to improve the user experience.

Bonjour! I was looking to contact you via email to tell you what I will be using your plugins for, but I think I am old fashioned and this is suitable. (I hope you don’t mind this message here instead.)

I am using your “Large Choices” and “Hidden Choice Conditions” plugins for my commercial project that I am hoping to release around next October, 2020. It will be a game that has a variance of relationships and I need your plugins to give players choices, some based on conditions. (Your plugins are perfect for what I need).

122. Hello, Hime Sensei.
I wanted to let you know that I’m using your Large Choices plugin in the Banking System in my first ever Commercial game. The series is called “Chihiru’s Grand Adventure” and I would be honored to give you a free copy of the full version of the games in the series since each of the games in the series will be using your plugin for the Banking System. My team and I are trying to finish the Ver 1.0 of the playable demo for the 1st game by September 30th, 2019. The URL for the game’s home page is in the “Website” section of this post. I hope you get the chance to try out our demos and if you can, follow us on Twitter @KuroyukiDev. We are following you on Twitter. Feel free to email me directly too so I can send you the completed games when we release them. Our games are really just a means for artistic expression so the money we make from the sales will be used to fund our future games (and the Starbucks drinks we get when we meet up to discuss our game’s progress lol). In the future, we might even have the money to commission you to make custom plugins for us. I’m actually the Team Leader and Game Programmer, Kurochan. We look forward to working with you and your plugins, Hime Sensei.

Hello Hime

Thank you for a great plugin!
Let your plug-in be used to create an adult commercial fantasy RPG.

My game is in a very early stage so I cannot provide a lot more information on it. What I can say it’s going to be a fan game for FNaF and it’s going to be entirely free of course.

I’ve been using your Hidden Choices plugin for my RPG Maker game Disir, and would like to ask for your permission to use it in the commercial release of the game in Mid-may. It’s only used for one part of the game, specifically dialogue, as that’s the main purpose of the plugin, but It’s possible I’ll be using it in the future. I just want to make sure to follow your terms and conditions properly, so please let me know if you have any requirements or anything for such usage.

Thanks in advance.

For now the plan is for the game to be free however it is very early to say for sure, I might change my mind and make it a paid game in the future (around 5-8 years later, which is how long I think it might take).

You’re amazing, love your work. 🙂

Hello Hime,

I am using your ActorBattleCommands plug in my RPG Maker MV game, That One Bug Game: The Light of Roggenburg. It is a short JRPG that has no items, so I used your plugin to remove that command from battle. I am releasing it as a free game, with an option to pay a dollar or two if they deem it worthy. I will have you credited on the in-game credits, and the itchio.io page when that goes up. If this happens to be an issue, please let me know and I will remove it.

–Untargetable State

–End Phase Triggers

We haven’t decided whether or not we’ll be selling the game yet, but it’d be best to stay on the safe side in case we do.

If you have any questions, you can contact my email or message me on Twitter @VioSpinel. Thank you!

What information would you require in order to decide whether it is acceptable for me to use the script? I would like to know as soon as possible so that I can find an alternative way to achieve my desired effect earlier in development rather than later, should there be a problem.

Just thought I would let you know in case I want to make it a commercial game.) The four plugins I’m using are the party manager, pre-title events, sync save data, and save title. If I could get permission to use them that would be great.

160. Diego says:

Hello Hime, I’m going to use your Custom Death States Plugin in a Commercial Game and I’ll give you credit for it.
thanks for creating this Plugin

161. Diego says:

Hello Hime, I’m going to use your Custom Death States Plugin in a Commercial Game and I’ll give you credit for it.
thanks for creating this Plugin

162. Robert Detmar says:

Hello Hime, I love your plugins, I am using the Enemy Reinforcements and the event trigger plugins of yours (And may very well use 1 or 2 more , those are just the ‘must haves’ for me. I am making a game with reincarnation and mind reading as main mechanics, and hopefully it will be a commercial game one day. I already have added credit for you but I wanted to check if it was alright for me to use.

163. Team_Heimdallr(developer) says:

Hi HIME

I’m making a commercial game and it’s coming soon.

The title is ‘with God.’

‘HIME_PreTitleEvents’

“HIME_TitleParticles”

Request permission to use the above plugin.

Naturally, the ending credits will be added.

I am a Korean person and I use it as a Google translation.

Please understand if English is strange.

Thank you. Have a nice day.

164. 和伊(KAZUI) says:

Hi,Hime.May I use a plug-in for the charged game? The contents become the one of Z specification.
The title is ” air laughs “.
Because I used only Japanese generally, that wrote this with the translation system.
Sorry if English isn’t right

165. Paul says:

Hi Hime,
I’d like to ask your permisson to use your Large Choice script and Disabled Choice Conditions script in a commercial RPG Maker MV game I’m planning to make. I am planning to allow the main character to learn about the local nobility and criminal underworld and such through side quests and unlocked skills. I just thought I’d would then make sense to add some exlusive dialogue choices for those players who went through the trouble of unlocking those skills and doing those side quests. I also plan to have certain skipable sections in the main questline in which new information can be unlocked. So I’d also like to hide some dialogue related to that information for those players who skipped that part of the main questline. Thanks in advance.

Paul

Hi Hime,

167. Atom says:

Can I use Core-Equip for my game that I want to sell?

168. Hi Hime,

Thanks a lot for your great work! I would like to use several of your plugins in my game, the Pre-Title plugin, and the Large-Choice plugin, among others.

If you would like to take a look at the game, you can find it here: https://gamejolt.com/games/LegendsofIdunia/239550

I hope in the future, as my budget improves, to be able to commission some custom plugins. I have some ideas and I’m sure your work would be great for it.

Best regards and thanks,

Fasold

169. Darkskull Games says:

I’m using many of your plugins in [Redacted Name], a text-based, choice-driven RPG! The only thing it has in common with RPG Maker MV is the combat system; otherwise, it’s probably unlike any other RPG Maker game in regards to how much of the old system I throw out the window.

It is a commercial game, and your plugins are absolutely astoundingly wonderful in terms of how well they function for my game. Thank you, HimeWorks.

170. B.o.N. says:

Hello Hime,

May I ask you about the “Data Patcher” for apply the DLC system? For an example, If I sell my game and always update new patch of the game. However, If some one buy some DLC content from me, can I send the DLC’s patch for my customer individually?

Thank in advance

171. MelodyZE says:

heyyy Hime! i absolutely love your scripts, i was wondering if i could use the item rarity script for a what may be a commercial game. of course, you would be credited on the games credits as well as a free copy of the game. i read the ToS of your scripts, and saw they where for use in commercial or non commercial games, but thought id follow your instructions and let you know by asking (:. may i use it for commercial use?

172. Lesley says:

Hello Hime! I am hoping to use your script Gameover Images for my game which I plan to sell. The game is a love story about a man looking for love. Thanks!

173. Pedro says:

Hello Hime,

I’m currently making a commercial game called “Harvest” (working title)
I’m asking for your permission to use the Timer Pause Plugin in this game.

“Harvest” is going to be a game about farming.

Thank you, I hope I can use your plugin.

Have a great day!

174. GhostChef says:

Hey, I’m working on a commercial game and I intend on making use of your “Custom Use Conditions” script to prevent a certain character from using cigarettes as he’s sworn them off. No idea when/if it’ll be done, but you said you’d prefer to know, so I’m letting you know. Thanks for the script, friendo <:

175. Adam Muhieddine says:

Hime,

Currently I’m planning on using your Actor Battle Commands plugin for MV in a project I’m planning to be commercial.
Here are two videos of very early stages of the project:
https://youtu.be/DupwawVsaKc
https://youtu.be/fRWPGQmJKp4

If I use anything else of yours I will let you know 🙂

176. Brian H says:

I’m working on a commercial game. Who knows if it’ll get finished!

The basic idea is like Chrono Cross, with tons of partners, mixed with FFX styled combat.

Currently, I am using some of your plugins. Those being, Actor Battle Commands, Game Over Events, Menu Music, and Random Encounter Events. It’s possible I’ll use others in the future, but those are the ones I currently have on the project.

177. Sureen Ink says:

I am a developer working on a commercial game. As of yet, I am unsure of which plugins I’ll be using, but I am currently looking at audio looping and choice conditions (and save title if it works with my save system). I saw I needed to contact you for commercial use, so I am doing so ^^

178. Logan says:

Hey HIME. I’m requesting to use HIME_SaveTitle in my commercial game. Do I have your permission to do so?

• Logan says:

I’m going to use it just to display whether the player is in easy, normal, or hard mode in their save menu so it’s more convenient for them.

179. Jillidin says:

Hello, Hime, I am asking your permission to use Conditional effect and elemental shift for commercial (Ace). What I intend to use them for is leaning toward geomancy. MA has a Geomancy , but it works all or nothing. Your elemental shift is close, but it doesn’t cover all conditions. Is it possible to use your conditional effects with a geomancy tag or something similar that gives a skill extra effects? Or am I looking at the wrong scripts?

180. Hi Hime!

Love your stuff! I’m creating a game that’s currently non-commercial, but may change in the future.

The only plugin of yours I’m using at the moment is the “HIME_ActorBattleCommands” plugin.

If I do go commercial, what would be required of me besides adding your name to the credits (assuming I’d have permission)?

Thanks in advance!

181. tukimi says:

Hello. I am Japanese and I can not speak much English well. So I am using Google translation.
I would like to use your plugin for my game.
Is credit notation required?

182. Damian Floyd says:

Hello and good evening HimeWorks,

Me and my team wish to ask for your permission to use the following Plugins;

HIME_MenuMusic

and

HIME_CounterAfterHit;

in our commercial game that is still in development.

These plugins will be used in a J/Western style RPG with dating sim aspects.

All due credit will be given for the use of the plugins as specified in your terms of use, we just want to post this message here to notify you of their use and receive your permission to use them commercially.

Sincerely,

Damian Floyd (Head of Project Ethuria)

183. Hello Hime.
I’m currently making commercial game called ‘8 doors’
I’m asking for your permission to use several plugins for making commercial game

HIME_ExpTables
HIME_LevelUpEvents
HIME_PreTitleEvents

‘8 doors’ is going to be a story about after death.
I hope to use your plugin

Love your work Hime! I plan to use a few of your choice related plugins in a small commercial project I’m working on. Just wanted to let you know and formally ask permission to use them! I’ll even give you a free copy of the completed game (as I do with all plugin developers who’s work I use). Keep up the awesome work on the amazing plugins!

Hidden Choice Conditions
Large Choices

187. MistFox says:

Dear Hime,

Thank you very much and very appreciate your work on the plug-in. They are helping me a lot. My friends and I are working on a small commercial project (our own project). When the demo is coming out, I will let you know.

Thanks again for your wonderful plug-in.

188. kiros says:

Hi there

Once, long ago, I stumble upon scripts for RPG Maker VX that enable the use of magic as per Final Fantasy VIII (draw, consumable magic)

Do you have any plans in porting that to RPG Maker MV?

189. Mister Dark says:

Hello Hime.
I’m asking for your permission to use several plugins for making a nice commercial game:
Battle Weather (Oct 26, 2015)
Pre-Title Events (Nov 5, 2015)
More Enemy Drops (Nov 6, 2015)
Enemy Reinforcements MV (Nov 16, 2015)
Enemy Equips (Nov 20, 2015)
Enemy Classes MV (Nov 23, 2015)
Enemy Levels MV (Nov 25, 2015)
Gameover Events MV (Nov 29, 2015)
Save Title (Dec 31, 2015)
Windowskin Change (April 15, 2016)
I need those plugins to make a game. It’s going to be a story about young students. They are going to learn different lessons and become heroes. After it, their job is going to be protection of their world. There is much more to this game, but I can’t spoil too much.
Best wishes.

190. Trent says:

Hey Hime, I have a bit of a question. What’s your stance on a game creator receiving donations? Say I were to release a game that uses some of your scripts, it’s free to play, but donations from players are welcome. Would that be allowed or something?

191. David says:

Hey Hime!

Is it okey if I use this script in my project? It’s most likely to be for commercial use in the end.
I want to take a mapshot and make it into a world map in order for the player to see where he/she is and this script is perfect for those intentions.

Thanks in advance and good work!

192. Pelo McSoy says:

I apologize if this is a repeat message from the Contact Us page, but I just found this input field.

May I use the Enemy Class & Level scripts? My game is set in a radio station, and it follows a host and his coworkers as they try to increase the quality of their shows.

Thanks.

193. William Hemric says:

Hello! I’m currently making a commercial game called Canvas Quest, based on the stickman comics I used to draw in school. I need to use your Multiple Inventories script for when the game shifts focus to a different character for a while. There’s a credits option on the Title Screen, will putting “HimeWorks (himeworks.com)” suffice?

194. DolorIpsum says:

Hello there and good day.
I plan on creating a commercial puzzle game in the future that would use your Menu Music plugin and possibly others such as your Choice and Choice Conditions plugins. Once the demo is finished, I will be sure to send a link to you as well as a free copy of the complete game. I’d like to know if this is alright and if so, how you would like to be credited.

195. VasantJ says:

Good Day Hime-Sama,
I make the “Medieval Cop Series” on Kongregate and wanted to use Hime_LargeChoices, Hime_HiddenChoices, Hime_DisabledChoiceConditions and HIME_Conditional choice text in my upcoming spinoff’s second episode pf Medieval Shorts (http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/VasantJ). The game is FREE but there is a revenue for views and I didn’t
know which category it fell under to use your plugins. I will credit and link your site in the credits and if you have any more requests, please let me know. Thanks

196. Arielle Kim says:

Hello Hime,

We were planning to use your multiple inventory plugin for a game we plan to release commercially. More info on the game can be found here. I wanted to ask about how we should credit you and if there were other steps we needed to take for the plugin.

Thanks,
GongHana Team

197. Izeck says:

I completely forgot to menton that I also wanted to request permision to use your plugins in my comercial project.

198. Izeck says:

Hi, Hime.

I’m using some of your plugins in my project that I plan to make it commercial. I’m still working on the plot points and such, but I have the basic foundation of my game.

I would be love to offer a (messy) demo of my project as it is at this moment for your viewing and advice if you are interested.

• Hime says:

I would recommend posting it on one of the RPG Maker forums as feedback on project direction is not something I would say I’m qualified for giving advice on.

199. Mphi says:

Good evening Hime,
Is it alright if I use some of your plugins for a game I’m working on?
The plot details are still a bit blurry but it’s for a future class project and I will likely see it commercially in the Apple App Store and maybe the android App Store.
(I am using a number of plugins, somewhere around three to four)

Thank you in advance!
– Mphi

200. Ibrahim Obada says:

Good evening!
I would like to ask your permission for a commercial use of your plugins! Right now, I am using two plugins Hidden Choice and Large choices plugins.

I will fully credit you in the end of the game. If you accept of course 🙂

201. Yothewal says:

Hi Hime,

I’m currently working on an RPG game that I’m planning on publishing it commercially. I just want to formally ask for your permission to use your Pre-Title screen plugin. I’m using it for splash screens before the title screen. Thanks in advance. Keep up the great work!

202. Victor says:

Good evening Hime,

I just saw your Pre-Title screen plugin, and I just wanted to let you know I’ll be downloading it, and I’m planning on using it just be using it for a couple simple splash screens before the title screen, just for productions, quick copyrights, stuff like that. I’ll more than likely be selling anything that I use with it, so wanted to let you know what I would be doing with it. Keep up the great work!

203. Elizer Aaron Resurreccion says:

Hi Hime! I would like to formally ask for your permission to use some of your scripts in the case of commercial use. I’ve recently just got RPG MAKER MV, and started on a game using LMBS(Linear Motion Battle System), currently I’m testing what scripts actually work with this battle system, but for future reference im hoping to include a option of taming monsters to recruit for battle, and adding interesting status effects.

Scripts Im currently looking to get permission in is Placeholder, ProgressiveStates, EasyAudioLooping, GuestFollowers – Works. still testing EnemyClass,EnemyLevel ..

Sorry not sure if i was suppose to e-mail or follow everyone and type it here

204. Joshua says:

Hello Hime,
Just letting you know, if it’s free, I’ll be using Exp Tables MV plugin for my commercial game, “Hearts Within”.
It’s a regular dramedy RPG game that I plan to host on Steam for $5-10, should all go well.
It’s not even close to finished yet, so if you have any objections please email me or respond.

205. Feliaria says:

Hiya, Hime! I was wondering if I could use some of your plug-ins in my commercial project?
The ones I’m looking to use are your Scope Change Rules, Progressive States (potentially, not sure yet), Double Cast State, and Weapon Damage.

206. Anonymous says:

Hello Hime!
Can I use your plugin Conditional Choice Text in my quite strange game? It will point out choices player has made.

207. Jillidin says:

Hello, Hime,
I’m trying to implement Party Management in my game. Just wonder, if I split the team to two, is there a way to spit resources to two as well? At least gold and some potions. It seems the new team gets nothing from the stock.

• Hime says:

You will need to use script calls to move items/gold from one party to another, since the plugin doesn’t know how you want to split them.
There are two script calls available:

Party.tradeGold
Party.tradeItem

See the instructions for more info.

208. LokisTochter says:

Hi Hime 🙂
Would you mind if I used some of your scripts in my game?
It’s a game with the idea of two siblings, how they find their ancestors, their father to be specific and his brother. I played to much Darksiders. I know, I know this idea is not really new, but it’s fun to make 🙂
It will not be commercial, if it will ever be out for everone.
And under which name would you like to be credited? Hime, TsukiHime or Himeworks? I want to make it correctly. 🙂

Thank you for your amazing scripts and scrippting skills!

209. Hi Hime,
I wanted to get your permission on using the “weather control plugin” and the “level up events plugin” on a mensal pledged porn game on patreon. (Also, you want name and link on the credits? Some people don’t want to be cited on Hgames…)

Thank you.

• Hime says:

You can use it. I don’t have any guidelines for adult-oriented games so I would leave it out of credits for now.

210. rainmaster says:

Hi Hime!

Thank you very much for all of the scripts that you have written, it has really helped me out w/ my project. I just have a quick question for you about a certain script that you may or may have not written.

I’m referring to the script found on this link:

http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/21378-using-weather-effects-during-a-battle-event/&do=findComment&comment=204481

I couldn’t confirm if you actually wrote it(there were comments w/ tsuki on it, but I just wanted to be sure) because there was no information about it on your site. If it is your script, would you mind if I use it in my project?

P.S.
I am planning on releasing it commercially(someday), and once I do, I’ll definitely give you a heads up about it.

211. Demonboy75 says:

Hello there, Hime. I really appreciate you and your plugins, and I would gladly support you if I had any money to spare. What I mean to ask is if I can use your MV plugin “Actor Battle Commands” for my game, “Rebellion.” It’s an RPG Maker game I’m making with default/free-to-use assets to try and accomplish a couple of things:
1. Raise money for college
2. Gain experience using RPG Maker
3. Learn how the process of creating and distributing a game works
I’d rather not divulge the plot in such a public forum, but if such details are necessary, I will e-mail them to you.
I would like to use your plugin to disable certain commands during battles that occur in the player’s dreams. If a player uses items during a dream sequence, and the items are gone in the real world after the dream sequence, it would likely seem unrealistic and odd, so I want to use your plugin so that I may disable item usage during these dream sequences.
Please, get back to me when it is convenient, and if I cannot use your plugin in my project, I will simply remove the plugin from my project so I do not infringe on your wishes. Thank you in advance for your time (and, hopefully, permission to use your plugin).

-Demonboy75, novice game dev and lover of video games <3

212. Jillidin says:

post PS Sorry. Map effect is someone else’s, it looks like.

213. Jillidin says:

ps. would I need the map effect script also?

214. Jillidin says:

Hello, Hime, Asking for permission to use your tile swap and audio file encryption for Ace commercial.
Got a question, too. I’m designing a water dungeon. I found that you used to have this water-walk state script and I couldn’t seem to be able to find it (need to walk under water or in water). Is it no longer out there?

215. Cole Goodrich says:

Hey, HIME; I’m currently using 2 scripts of yours, the SyncSave and PreTitleEvent, for my game. I don’t plan on selling it, but it’s still respectful to inform you how I’m using them. First off, I’m using a map as a title screen thanks to the PreTitleEvent, but I also added a once-only cutscene just before that with the SyncSave script. On top of that, I plan to use the SyncSave script to change the title screen to fit the current progress of the game, like in Portal 2. Those are my main uses as of now, and I’m sure I’ll find more; the SyncSave script has so much potential 🙂 If you’d like more info on the game itself, I’d be happy to go into more detail, but if not, that’s cool; I just wanted to inform you of my uses of your scripts.

216. Kyle says:

Greetings! I’m working on a commercial game and would like to use your change graphic and effect manager script. Please let me know if that’s not alright for any reason or if there’s any questions I can answer about my game or my use of your scripts. Thanks very much for making them!

217. Jillidin says:

Sorry to bother you again, Hime. I am also looking for new ideas to spice up battles in my game. I found potential in your conditional state and enemy reinforcement. I understand that Enemy Reinforcement has been widely used. I just wonder how the experiences and drops are calculated. Say, enemies 1 and 2 call for 3 and 4. Do they eventually get exp from 1 and 2 or all 4 of them (same goes with drops). As for conditional state, I have to specify states on a. p, and t (troops means enemies, right? I haven’t figure out how switches and variables can be used yet.) Do I have to design separate sets of conditions for individual battlers, parties, and enemy troops? I put all of them in the comment box? Thanks. Have a nice day.

• Hime says:

For exp and drops, all four by default. It's no different from having enemies "appear" into the battle, except you can add enemies from other troops.

For conditional states, they are placed in the note-box. The formula determines which state will be applied. If you require conditions to be specific to certain actors/enemies/troops/etc then you would need to include that in the logic. The variables are just available for you to use in your formula, among other things.

218. Jillidin says:

Hello, Hime,
The two scripts of yours I love most are party management — so I can have split teams in dungeons — and item instance — probably for crafting, if I can manage to get it to work. I am using Ace, and intend to see if I can use them in my commercial games. From what I understand, both are free to use for commercial, is that correct? I’m making a sequel of my previous two games. If you want to know more, here is the link to the previous games … oh, I can’t find the link button. But you can find it on my website. Thanks you. You did amazing work.

219. Trevor Green says:

Hey Hime

Just Wondering If I Am Allowed To Use PreTitleEvents And SyncSaveData In A Project I Intend To Sell On Itch.io (And Possibly Steam) To Make A Pre-Title Logo That Changes Based On A Player’s Decisions And To Make Characters React To A Player’s Choices On Previous Playthroughs.

Thanks Either Way!

220. Noah says:

Hi, Hime!

Letting you know i’m using your Scene Interpreter vx ace script for a commercial game (hopefully down the road) It’s a post apocalyptic game set in decades after an alternate timeline of the Cold War in the 1950s where nuclear warfare was used. I’m using the script with a survival food/water system.

When I do release it I’ll let you know, probably with a game page from RMN.

Thank you!

And of course you could always snag a free copy 🙂

221. Pazuzu10 says:

Hello, Hime. I apologize in advance for the length of this, but I just wanted to let you know that I downloaded your counter-attack after attack plugin, and that I’m planning on using it in a game I would like to eventually sell. Still a lot of work to go however. I wanted to tell you as soon as I could so that it possibly avoided any issues later after I’ve implemented things. I’m planning on using it for a strictly counterattacking monster (kind of like a FF4 Behemoth), as well as a character that is a sword master archetype. Not a lot of use, I know, but it’s those little things that make a game better, in my opinion, of course. And I just credit you for the plugin?

222. Emolg says:

Hi there,

I Was just wondering if it’s OK for me to use a couple of your MV Plugins in my game?

223. Axarin says:

Hey man ,
thanks for all the amazing work that a plebeian like me would never be able to create.
I plan to use the Pre-Title event plugin in a game that I am making. I wonder if that’s cool with you.
(The game is an adult game and will be up on patreon and later released for free once the production cycle has ended.)

224. LordValinar says:

Hello Hime, first off I wanted to say how absolutely awesome you are in these scripts (and making them free – even better!) 😀 Second to be courteous I decided to follow through with giving you the rundown of my game along with letting you know aside from being credited, I may throw in a Hime NPC xD or some other reference that you’d prefer? — The game is mostly a semi-serious Horror/Adventure-RPG with storytelling elements, but I’ve put a few references here and there to other silly things like when clicking on a rock the character says:
“I like this boulder. It’s a nice boulder.” – reference: Shrek(Donkey). And so on 😛

The game itself though is based on a parallel world similar to mid to late 1300s europe, similar to when and where the Black Plague struck; only in this world/game the plague is supernatural in nature (as the story progresses, you find out it was caused by demons) and the result are the dead rising as a vampires (demon possessed corpses) – You: the main player; are one of these vampires. Only you have not yet fallen prey to full possession.

The game lore uses many that we know of (vulnerable to sunlight, no reflection, must drink blood) and some are done away with (garlic, silver, running water, invitations to houses, etc). So while you’re on the goal of finding out who you were (cliche amnesia plot), you also get to decide if you want to further help the demons and your sire (“evil” side), or put an end to it and purge the demon from you and stopping your sire (“Good” side). There are many endings though, regardless of which side you go. I’m using your scripts (mostly the conversation ones – to hide/disable/extend choices) ^_^

Loving them so far <3

Hey, I’m working on a new game (you spoke to me today about preemptive strikes :P). I’m hoping one day to put it on steam but my attention span is short so I may never finish it x.x

It’s essentially a dungeon crawler that you execute in one dungeon with one of 21 characters.

I’m currently using your scripted preemptive/surprise script and enemy reinforcements scripts. Is that okay?

226. Aco says:

Hi, Im using your more items plugin to make the monsters drop individually skillpoints as questitems to spend them for skills on a “buyskillmap”. If I have something playable, I will translate it in english and send you a demo 😀
Normally I don’t use any plugins and keep things as easy as possible, but I need your work here 😀

227. Zero Wind says:

Hello,Ms.Hime

I know that you are required to be notified of any of your scripts are being used.
In which I am using for a Demo in progress. That I hope I can complete by myself. But if you want to check up on my progress..I will be happy to let you know and give you a personal demo via email, when it’s completed.

Commercial interest is whether you can use in the listed script is free to this forum ? Or do you pay ?

230. Cerveau says:

Is Player Switch script free for both commercial and non-commercial use as long as credited?

• Hime says:

If you are referring to the one on the forums, then it can be used in commercial and non-commercial games free of charge. If you are referring to the Party Manager or Player Manager, then no.

231. Anshelm says:

I left an email. if you have replied just let me know here because I’m not sure if the Email I gave you works. It’s the first time I used that Email. If it doesn’t work I’ll give you another Email that I know works.

232. Thomas Lee says:

Hey. I dropped an email asking about terms of us. Just in case the email didn’t reach you, I’ll resend.

233. Winston says:

Hey there, I sent you an email about licensing for a script. I’d like to get it done before IGMC (less than 2 days) so can please answer me ^^

234. Winston says:

Hey,

Can I use one of your scripts (Choice Options) for IGMC 2015? Do you consider that commercial?

• Nivlacart says:

I think Hime mentioned last year that the usage of his scripts for IGMC requires a commercial license?

• Hime says:

Yes, as IGMC 2015 has monetary rewards I would consider that to be commercial usage. You can use the contact form to discuss further details.

235. Data says:

Quick question:
Is ‘Skill Links’ a credited script, or a licensed one?

Thanks in advance.

• Hime says:

License for commercial projects. You can use the contact form if you would like to discuss more details.

236. Hi Hime,

i sent you a PM regarding the commercial use, of one of your scripts!
I don’t want to rush you, but i’d appreciate an answer : )

Kind regards, Leo

• Hime says:

Was it sent to my ymail account? I have not used it for sometime after implementing the Contact Me form so I may have missed it.

237. Crypto says:

Is Shared Exp credit or license for commercial?

238. Toucannon says:

Hey Hime, I have a question regarding terms of the tile swapping script.
Would it require a licence for commercial use?

239. James says:

Hello Hime!
I have a question for the Map Drops script (http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/2931-map-drops/): is this script free to use in a commercial game?

240. Chrystainn says:

Hey himeworks, I need serious helo with the item rarity code, I just started using scripts and have no idea where to put what and theres no way of me finding out besides having the creator talk me through it. if you could email me a step by step where to place everything and where to put what I would greatly appreciate it. thanks
-big fan!!

241. Greatnorth says:

Hey,
just wondering if the casting time script was credited or requires a licensed?

Thanks in advance

242. tsumiotoko says:

I wonder if you can add tabs under the mentioned RGSS3 scripts to mention whether which script required only credited and which script is required only licensed.

E.g. Scripts (Credited)
E.g. Scripts (Licensed)

• Hime says:

The scripts terms of use section specifies this information. Granted, some of them I haven't updated since no one asked.

243. Dexin Inoche says:

I have a question about the Player Switch script.
Is this a Credited or Licened script
thank you

• Hime says:

Credited, as I have no intention of supporting it.

Don’t confuse it with Player Manager, however, as that is a licensed script.

244. tsumiotoko says:

One question for confirmation,

Commercial Terms of Use

A license is required to use the script. <--- need to contact & pay or just contact you?
The script is provided as-is.
Will do bug fixes. Compatibility patches may be requested, but you may have to pay for patches
Credits to Hime Works in your project
Preserve the script header

245. PhantomVNer says:

So what counts is the license terms written on each specific script?
I am only interested in the Larger Troops.

246. Kuroneko says:

Yes pay for updates horay! You beat Steam to it 😀

• Hime says:

You’re paying for me to make a patch to make my scripts work with your game that uses others scripts. It’s not a bug when someone else’s work doesn’t play along with mine.

• Kuroneko says:

** Terms of Use
* Free to use in commercial/non-commercial projects
* No real support. The script is provided as-is
* Will do bug fixes, but no compatibility patches
* Features may be requested but no guarantees, especially if it is non-trivial
* Credits to Tsukihime in your project
* Preserve this header

I’ll just reverse it.

247. Paul Lodge says:

Hello Hime

I was curious to know what terms the “counter skill” script has. Whether it is to be simply credited or licensed?

Thanks in advance.
