Large Troops

This script allows you to “merge” multiple troops into a single troop. You will still set up each troop separately, but when the  game is loaded the troops will be merged together. This allows you to manage more than 8 enemies per troop easily, with full event editor functionality since the indices are updated as necessary.

In theory you can merge unlimited number of troops together.

Usage

Create a comment on the first page of the troop events with the following
string

<parent troop: x>

Where x is the ID of the troop that this troop should extend.
All of the enemies and event pages will be merged.

You can set up the troop events as you normally do without having to worry about indexing.
The only thing you need to worry about is where to place the sprites.

    Is the problem that it doesn’t save as a JS file? The only “Save As” option is Text File, which I don’t think would work when copied into the plugins folder.

    Aww, when I see this title, i first thought it would be like Dragon Quest’s Slime function where multiple slimes will fuse-combine into a giant one slime ENEMY, not “troop”. what a disappointment… But it’s pretty nice script though~! =D Good work, Tsukihime~! ^^

        I copied the string

        and replaced x with the name of parent troop
        but nothing happened

    I love how your scripts use event functionality, and they are easy to use, and I’ve had no trouble with them! Thank you for such amazing and useful scripts!
