Payment

Currently I offer paypal as an option. If you prefer alternative methods we can see if something can be worked out.

Script Writing

This includes anything related to writing scripts, including

  • modifying an existing script
  • writing patches for existing scripts
  • writing completely new scripts

Request Format

To submit a request, you must provide the following information

  • A brief summary of what you want.
  • A detailed explanation of every component you would like
  • If applicable, examples of input and expected output.
  • If applicable, mock-ups of what you want to see (if visuals are involved)
  • If applicable, resources that you want to use

You will also need to provide a copy of your project. This is so that when I write the script, it will be tested under your project. This is to avoid compatibility issues that may arise simply because you have scripts that I didn’t know about.

If you add new scripts after I have begun working on the script, additional fees may be charged if the new scripts result in compatibility issues that I need to address. I will inform you what the fees are when you tell me that you want to add new scripts.

Request Approval

Not all requests will be accepted. Whether a request is accepted or not is based on various factors such as whether it interests me, how my schedule looks, and what your timeline is. Naturally, if you want something within 24 hours and it is a fairly large project that I cannot complete in 24 hours, I will inform you that I’m unable to do fill that request.

Commission Rates

Rates depend on various factors. We can discuss rates after you have submitted a request and I have expressed interest in it. To make things easier, you should also provide a general idea of your project budget for scripts with your request, as I will take that into consideration.

Script Consultation

For scripters that may be having a hard time implementing an idea, or trying to figure out how to solve compatibility issues between scripts, or how to add your own add-on based on an existing script, I can provide consultation services.

My role would not be to write a script for you, but instead to help you figure out how to write your own script. This might involve clarifying how certain parts of the engine are implemented, or to walk through certain concepts that would be required to implement an idea.

Some questions are fairly straightforward and I would just give you an answer or direct you to another resource, but if the problem is specific enough, fees would be charged to spend time looking at the problem.

My own scripts are not exempt from consultation fees. If you are asking about how a script works, that is something I would answer freely, but if you are asking how to implement a complete system using the scripts, you may need to pay consultation fees since I would be the one that is figuring out how to implement the system, rather than clarifying how the script is used.

    Moghunter – LMBS (Linear Motion Battle System)

    An adjustable “Skill Range” system, Used for setting the Skill Range of an AI which will be a part of the Skill Note.
    An adjustable “Knockback” system. The adjustable part would be. Height, Range, Speed and knock back path. Which will be a Skill Note
    A sprite name changer using plugin command. Used for changing sprite model during battle.
    An extension for chain combo system by clicking a specific button. It will be a part of Weapon note and Skill Note.

    first off let me say thanks for all the great work you have provided for the rpgmaker community!
    Now, I don’t have a commission or such, however I do have a question regarding your party manager script ;
    is it possible to use this plug-inn to set up a ‘character select’ screen at the start of the game, and if so how would I go about doing this? (not asking for a full-blown tutorial here but a pointer or two).
    Anyway, I realise this might not be the best place to ask, my apologies in advance, but can’t blame me for trying, tight? 🙂

    I’m working on a game that I don’t have intentions of making commercial but I noticed that you would like someone to contact you if they use your plugin for commercial use. As I said, I am making this game for myself but I am curious as to what you would want if someone were to ask to use your plugin for commercial use. On the off chance that I or someone else wants to use your plugins I think that would be good information to have prior to building a game rather than finding out they don’t like your terms and losing an entire project.

    First of all I’d just like to say a massive thank you for all your contributions to the RPG maker community. If it wasn’t for people like you this community wouldn’t be what it is. So thank you very much.

    I am messaging to find out whether you have plans to transfer any of your existing scripts to or create new scripts/plugins for RPG maker MX?

    And if you have already made any, where might I find them?

      I will be porting scripts over-time. They will be posted on this website as usual. I will be creating a separate list of MV scripts as well for easy access.

      So far I have only created one script.

        What happens if somebody commissions a script and offers a large sum of money? Will you take it regardless of circumstances?

          Price is one factor when it comes to commissions. Of course, the higher the offer, the more likely I will do it, but it would still boil down to whether I am interested in working on it, and other things.
